Job summary

Beyond Pediatrics is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Finance team in a full-time role. You will support the general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting processes to maintain accurate records for a children-and-families focused organization.

You will prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, and assist with financial statements, budgets, audits, and payroll support as needed. A collaborative team environment and strong GAAP knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least one year of accounting experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively with others.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations as part of the month-end closing process.

Beyond Pediatrics is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our Finance team!

In this role, you'll help keep our financial operations running smoothly by supporting our general ledger, monthly closing processes, and financial reporting. You'll play an important part in maintaining accurate financial records while supporting an organization dedicated to caring for children and families.

What You'll Do

• Assist with preparing monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.

• Work closely with the Finance team to help ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

What We're Looking For

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This position is based in a professional office environment and involves regular computer and phone use, along with occasional travel between clinic locations. The role requires the ability to sit for extended periods, communicate effectively, use standard office equipment, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
