PREMIER Bankcard, LLC in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to prepare journal entries for the credit card portfolio, maintain general ledger records, and reconcile accounts. You will research questions and interpret data to support financial accuracy.

The role involves daily posting, month-end closes, asset disposals and capitalization, and contributing to monthly reporting packages. Strong Excel skills and GAAP understanding are essential.

Qualifications

• GAAP understanding
• Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
• Accounts Payable knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily journal entries for credit card settlements and reconcile general ledger and deposit accounts.
• Maintain monthly fixed assets (disposals and capitalization).
• Prepare and distribute monthly financial reporting packages.
• Review and approve expense reports.
• Serve as back up for research and approval of supplier invoices.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of departmental policies and protocols.
