Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP; strong financial reporting and analysis.
• Proficient in accounting software and advanced Excel.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong ethics and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and relevant regulations.
• Assist in managing the month-end close process and creating journal entries.
• Maintain prepaid assets and amortizations, recording related journal entries as needed.
• Review financial statements for accuracy and GAAP compliance.
• Maintain the fixed asset subledger and reconcile to the general ledger.
• Coordinate and support the annual audit process with external auditors.
• Assist with tax compliance and business license requirements.
• Manage financial and operating lease accounting under ASC 842.
• Understand project accounting and project-based billing.
• Improve systems and procedures, supporting software replacements and testing.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and reduce costs.
• Other duties to support the Accounting department.
