Job summary

Dexian in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Staff Accountant to join the Corporate Accounting & Finance team. This role supports day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit activities.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in accounting and 2–4 years of experience, strong fundamentals in accounting, and solid Excel skills. NetSuite experience is a plus and public-company exposure is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required; finance or related degree with accounting coursework may be considered with relevant experience.
• 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles (debits/credits).
• Hands-on experience preparing journal entries and reconciliations.
• General ledger and month-end close experience.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel (formulas, lookups, pivots).
• Experience with SOX, internal controls, audits, or multi-entity accounting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support daily accounting activities across the general ledger, cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed assets.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, roll-forwards, and schedules.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Review income and expense activity for accuracy and classification.
• Assist with financial reporting schedules, trial balance tie-outs, and account analysis.
• Support internal and external audit requests.
• Maintain accurate accounting records in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
