Job summary

Texas Radiology Associates (TRA) is seeking a Staff Accountant in Plano, TX to manage day-to-day accounting, including general ledger on a cash basis, month-end close, and contract billing for hospital stipends and other amounts due. The role supports audits, payroll, and reporting for practice leadership and the Board.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and 4+ years of experience, with CPA-eligibility a plus. This on-site position offers growth across multiple TRA sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience; healthcare or multi-site experience preferred.
• Solid cash-basis and accrual (GAAP) knowledge with month-end close.
• Experience supporting external audits and preparing PBC schedules.
• Experience with contract or client billing (hospital stipends or similar).

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger on a cash basis with journal entries and adjustments.
• Support month-end close and prepare balance sheets and reconciliations.
• Process accounts payable, vendor invoices, and reimbursements.
• Prepare monthly client invoices for contracts and stipends.
• Monitor receivables and follow up on past-due balances.
• Assist with payroll processing and UKG Ready payroll data coordination.
• Support GAAP conversions and assist with quarterly audits.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for leadership and Board.
