• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting fundamentals.
• Experience with account reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both accounting and operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries maintaining general ledger integrity.
• Perform monthly bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
• Analyze freight revenue, operating expenses, and key metrics.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
• Review customer billing and freight invoices to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
• Prepare financial reports and variance analyses for management.
• Assist with cash flow reporting and budgeting initiatives.
• Support external audits and provide documentation.
