San Diego Theatres seeks an Accountant to manage daily and monthly accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and audits. You will work independently under guidelines and report to the Accounting Manager.

The ideal candidate has a BA in accounting, 3–5 years of nonprofit accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Sage Intacct and Paycom Payroll. A detail-oriented approach and confidentiality are essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 3–5 years of related accounting experience; nonprofit experience a plus.
• Experience with Sage Intacct and Paycom Payroll systems is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs accounting functions including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintains subsidiary accounts and resolves discrepancies with documentation.
• Reconciles daily banking activity and prepares deposits and wires.
• Assists with audits by collecting data and preparing schedules.
• Communicates with departments regarding invoices, payroll, and banking activity.
• Maintains organized filing for payroll, month end, and vendor payments.
