American Momentum Bank is seeking a Staff Accountant in College Station, TX to support the Financial Reporting Supervisor and CFO in the Finance/Accounting Department. You will maintain fixed assets, perform reconciliations, manage journal entries, and assist in management reports, with emphasis on accuracy and timely delivery.

Qualifications include a BS in Accounting or Finance with emphasis in Accounting and a GPA of 3.2 or higher.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance with emphasis in Accounting.
• GPA 3.2 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the fixed asset system and depreciation schedules; provide monthly detail for journal entries; record new purchases and disposals.
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Balance Bank internal deposit accounts daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Record daily, weekly and monthly journal entries in the general ledger.
• Maintain and balance the pre-paid assets system and perform reconciliations.
• Maintain departmental files as needed.
• Prepare department correspondence as needed.
• Assist in preparation of various management reports.
