Job summary

TAK Broadband, a leading U.S. fiber broadband contractor, seeks a Staff Accountant for its corporate office in Sioux Falls, SD. You will manage cash, fixed assets, debt, and corporate cards, participate in month-end closes, and drive process improvements across the accounting function.

The role offers a full benefits package, weekly pay, and opportunities for advancement. A CPA or CPA‑eligible candidate is a plus, with compensation DOE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Experience in fixed asset, debt, or multi-entity accounting preferred.
• CPA, CPA candidate, or CPA eligible is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Sage, SAP) preferred.
• Experience with accounting automation tools or data analytics is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary accountant for cash, fixed assets, debt, equity, and corporate cards.
• Perform bank reconciliations, depreciation schedules, and GL postings.
• Prepare month-end journal entries and reconciliations.
• Support annual audits and internal reporting.
• Help automate and document processes and train team members.
• Support the department on special projects as assigned.
