Job summary

CICOA Aging & In-Home Solutions seeks a detail-oriented Accountant I to perform general ledger duties, prepare journal entries, maintain the chart of accounts, and assist with cost allocations and accruals. The role supports audit readiness and financial reporting for the organization.

The position also covers payroll backup responsibilities, ensures timely payroll processes, and collaborates with the CFO on policy development and digital transition within the Fiscal department.

Qualifications

• Experience with ledger maintenance, journal entries, and chart of accounts.
• Experience reviewing payroll entries and supporting payroll processes.
• Ability to analyze cash flow reports and support budgeting.
• Experience coordinating audits and ensuring financial records accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Analyze general ledger, prepare entries, maintain chart of accounts, and support cost allocations and accruals. Act as liaison for accounting system issues and audit prep.
