Job summary

cabi, LLC is seeking a Staff Accountant to support accurate financial recording and close processes. You will maintain the general ledger, reconcile accounts, and assist audits while contributing to continuous improvement of financial controls and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 1-3 years of accounting experience in a corporate environment.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP fundamentals; ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily global accounting operations for fixed expenses and related accounts.
• Oversee treasury activities including cash management and debt.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts monthly.
• Prepare monthly fixed expense details for proper classification.
• Produce timely financial reports and support close processes.
• Assist with budget monitoring and cash forecasting with FP&A.
• Analyze accounting data to identify variances and issues.
• Enforce/update accounting methods, policies and internal controls.
• Support annual audit prep; coordinate with external auditors.
• Maintain accounting records; classify transactions in GL.
• Post journal entries; ensure correct accounting periods.
• Prepare documentation for audits; respond to auditor requests.
