IA Construction Corporation seeks an experienced staff accountant to support monthly financial reporting and general ledger activities across multiple units. You will collaborate with internal leaders to ensure accurate financial information and maintain control over accounting processes for affiliated entities.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and at least 3 years of staff accounting experience, preferably in construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of staff accountant experience.
• Experience in the construction industry is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting software.

Responsabilités

• Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions per policy.
• Assist month-end and year-end close, including journal entries.
• Prepare and review financial statements for multiple units.
• Analyze data for variances and trends for leadership.
• Respond to inquiries and research discrepancies for accuracy.
• Maintain accounting records and support affiliated entities.
• Perform account reconciliations and GL accuracy checks.
• Support AP, invoicing, and cash flow tracking as needed.
• Assist with audits and tax preparation support.
• Submit required financial reports and regulatory filings.
• Communicate with internal teams and external vendors.
• Work additional hours to meet deadlines and duties.
