Mount Airy Casino Resort in Mount Pocono, PA is hiring a Staff Accountant to maintain general ledger accounts and prepare financial statements and reports. The role supports budgeting, performs monthly and annual analyses, and provides cross-department accounting support.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, with CPA/MBA desired and at least two years of accounting experience. Infinium, Cognos, Showcase and Excel knowledge is a plus; PGCB license is required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related area required.
• CPA or MBA desired.
• Two years accounting experience.
• Knowledge of Infinium, Cognos, Showcase, Excel and other accounting packages.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain PGCB license.

Responsabilidades

• Assists in the preparation of financial reporting as required.
• Prepares and keys journal entries as needed.
• Assists in special projects as required.
• Verifies the accuracy of information transmitted to the financial reporting system.
• Assist departments and management in the budgeting process.
• Performs analysis both monthly and annually.
• Provides accounting support to other departments as needed.
• Attends training and meetings.
