Our client is currently seeking a Sr. Staff Accountant

Experience

• Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in financial accounting, preferably within a financial institution.

Knowledge

• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
• Familiarity with relevant government regulations, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and applicable reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in related computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Awareness of Credit Union products and services is an advantage.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on financial analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Competence in operating standard office equipment (e.g., computer, peripherals, telephone, copier, calculator).

• Strong mathematical and bookkeeping skills, including advanced mathematical concepts.
