Fishbowl Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Finance and Accounting team in Minneapolis. You’ll handle general accounting duties including AR/AP, payroll, multi-state sales tax, and reconciliations while supporting HR processes and office operations.

You’ll also drive process improvements and apply AI tools to improve accuracy. You will work across the general ledger, HR pipeline, and front desk, handling confidential information with discretion and contributing to scalable

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience in a staff accountant role.
• 2–4 years of experience supporting leadership.
• Knowledge of GAAP and finance fundamentals.
• Experience with financial software and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Generate client invoices and follow up on past-due accounts.
• Process PO, vendor invoices, and employee expenses to GL accounts.
• Process payroll, benefits, rewards, sales commissions, and bonuses; record entries.
• Prepare journal entries and daily/monthly reconciliations.
• Establish and maintain accounting controls and review reports for accuracy.
• Prepare multi-state sales tax returns and filings.
• Maintain customer maintenance database and accounting metrics spreadsheets.
• Manage SuccessFactors and administer HR processes and onboarding.
• Coordinate company events, meetings, and Travel Policy compliance.
• Oversee reception, facilities, and office supplies; vendor coordination.
• Leverage AI tools to automate tasks and improve report accuracy.
