Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Staff Accountant I to support the Finance team at Reliant Park. The role focuses on day-to-day accounting, journal entries, and month-end close in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and a solid understanding of GAAP. You will work with operations and finance teams across food & beverage, retail, and events to ensure accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of professional accounting experience.
• Experience in hospitality, sports & entertainment, or high-volume environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and recurring entries.
• Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and research variances.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
• Analyze event-related revenues and expenses and investigate variances.
• Assist with inventory accounting, COGS, and labor cost analysis.
• Maintain accurate records and GAAP-compliant documentation.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Collaborate with operations and other departments to resolve discrepancies.
