Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment in Austin, TX seeks a Full-Time Staff Accountant to handle project, balance sheet and general ledger accounting for multiple events and properties. This role prepares financial statements and supports other accounting functions.

You will process artist payments, manage invoices, complete month-end close, prepare P&L, coordinate with AP/AR, and ensure regulatory and company policy compliance while maintaining audit-ready files.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 2+ years of industry accounting experience.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
• Oracle experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare artist payments to be sent via wire, ACH, or check.
• Manage the payment, tracking, and approval of all property- and show-related invoices.
• Complete month-end close, including preparation of P&L statements, related journal entries, and financial statements.
• Work with the Accounting Manager to ensure all checks and wires are entered and reconciled monthly.
• Work with AP/AR Specialists to ensure all receivables, receipts, and payable items are processed and recorded accurately and on time.
• Prepare and pay all monthly and quarterly taxes.
• Maintain accounting files, provide audit support as needed, and ensure files comply with all company policies and procedure.
• Perform other accounting functions as assigned.
