Techstra Solutions is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Accounting and Finance team. The role emphasizes accuracy in general ledger, financial reporting, and month-end close while partnering with leadership and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, 3+ years of accounting experience, and proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel. This position offers a collaborative, detail-oriented environment in Pittsburgh with room for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily accounting activities and general ledger maintenance.
• Process accounts payable invoices and assist with vendor payments.
• Assist with accounts receivable, invoicing, and payment application.
• Prepare bank and credit card reconciliations and other account reconciliations.
• Record journal entries and maintain supporting documentation.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Support audits, tax-related requests, and other accounting projects.
