Job summary

King & Bishop is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Stoughton, MA team. The role supports general ledger accounting, month-end close, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit preparation.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on GL experience, knowledge of GAAP, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. On-site work in Stoughton is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Hands-on general ledger experience and journal entries.
• Experience with month-end close and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries in the general ledger using GP and P21.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and bank reconciliations.
• Identify discrepancies with AR/AP and communicate to teams.
• Prepare monthly close deliverables and support financial reporting.
• Assist with audits and tax documentation as needed.
• Support CAPEX reporting and financial analyses.
• Identify process improvements for accuracy and efficiency.
