Job summary

ZenaTech Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant to maintain and analyze financial records across our entities. Deltek VantagePoint experience is mandatory. You will support the CFO with financial reporting, budgets, and audits, ensuring consistency and accuracy of records.

Responsibilities include month-end close, reconciliations, and maintaining records. The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work cross-functionally within a growing tech company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in bookkeeping, finance, and accounting roles.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal control procedures.
• Deltek VantagePoint experience mandatory for the role.
• Experience with a PEO (Insperity) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly bookkeeping for multiple companies using Deltek VantagePoint.
• Maintain accurate customer and vendor records in the accounting system.
• Oversee bank/credit card reconciliations, AP, AR, and payroll entries.
• Approve vendor invoices for payment and/or processing payments.
• Drive month-end close activities and review monthly financial reports for accuracy and tax readiness.
• Maintain SOPs and internal notes up to date.
• Support CFO and finance team during audits.
