Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1-3 years of related accounting experience; public accounting experience a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly and investigate discrepancies, escalating issues as needed.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly sales and use tax returns for various local and state entities.
• Prepare, post, and reconcile journal entries, including job cost accruals, ensuring accurate cost allocations and period recognition.
• Support controllers throughout month-end close, assisting with financial statement preparation and review for multiple entities.
