Job summary

EverOn Data Center Services in Atlanta seeks a Construction Staff Accountant to support the accounting team with AR, job costing, and month-end close. The role requires close collaboration with Project Management, Operations, and Project Controls to ensure costs and receivables are accurately recorded to the correct jobs and cost codes.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of construction accounting experience, strong proficiency in MS Excel, and a track record of meeting month-end deadlines

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.
• 2-3 years’ experience in accounting.
• Previous data center, or NetSuite experience is required.
• Construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate job cost records by project and cost code.
• Reconcile job cost detail to the general ledger monthly.
• Record and apply customer payments and cash receipts.
• Monitor AR aging and follow up on past-due balances.
• Track retainage receivable by project and assist closeout.
• Prepare month-end balance sheet reconciliations and accruals.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and reconciling items.
• Support the month-end close checklist and deadlines.
• Assist with audits and process-improvement projects.
• Support other duties as assigned.
