Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our finance team in a full‑time role.

You will assist with month-end close, prepare journal entries, and perform reconciliations across key accounting areas to support timely financial reporting. You will contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual reporting packages, respond to management requests, and participate in process-improvement initiatives to enhance reporting tools and efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
CPA and/or MBA in Finance/Accounting a plus.
Experience in mid to large complex company environment.

Responsibilities

Participate in month-end close by preparing, analyzing and posting journal entries across key accounting areas.
Perform general ledger account reconciliations and supporting analyses in accordance with monthly close timelines.
Contribute to monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reporting packages.
Prepare financial reports and respond to ad hoc information requests from management and cross-functional business partners.
Assist with projects related to process improvements enhancing technology reporting tools.
Ensure accurate and timely execution of accounting responsibilities.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal control requirements.
Identify opportunities to improve and streamline processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of monthly accounting close.
