Job summary

CNDUIT, a cannabis life cycle management company, is seeking a full-time Accountant in Washington. You will manage month-end close in QuickBooks, handle journal entries, payroll taxes, and intercompany accounting while ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple states.

Key qualifications include a Bachelor’s in accounting and 3–5 years of experience, with strong attention to detail, accrual accounting knowledge, and excellent communication. OT may be required; we value ownership and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.

• Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping.
• Strong knowledge of accrual accounting.
• Experience using QuickBooks.
• Analytical mindset and understanding of procedures/regulation.

• Compliance with legal/company regulations for industry requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute the financial month-end close in QuickBooks, including reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare and review journal entries and intercompany transactions.
• Analyze and record monthly inventory.
• Ensure compliance and filings with regulatory tax agencies.
• Process bi-weekly payroll and reconcile payroll deductions.
• Coordinate weekly payments to vendors and receivables with management.
• Oversee and perform weekly audits of bookkeeping records and produce financial statements.
• Support staff accountant with processes and workflow.
• Prepare weekly executive scorecard, cash forecasting, and monthly statements.
• Update budget projections and financial status reports.
