Qualifications

• Minimum five years of nonprofit accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
• Experience with ACS Financial and Realm is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Record and process donor contributions accurately and in accordance with church policies and IRS regulations.
• Prepare annual donor contribution statements and provide statements or information upon request.
• Recruit, coordinate, and oversee volunteer money-counting teams.
• Prepare and process accounts payable vouchers and weekly check runs.
• Monitor utility usage and work with Facilities Manager to evaluate rates and contracts.
• Maintain vendor records and file Form 1099s.
• Assist Business Administrator with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Assist with designated human resources and administrative responsibilities.
• Serve as Secretary to the Finance Committee and attend 4–5 evening meetings annually.
• Maintain confidential financial records and documentation.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
