Job summary

Ideal candidates have a BA/BS in Accounting or Finance, 2+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing preferred), strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with Excel and ERP systems. This role offers on-site work in West Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank statements and various balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare and post journal entries for month-end close, accruals, and reclassifications.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and inventory valuation.
• Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely vendor payments.
• Support external audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.
• Maintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciation.
