Job summary

Archbold Medical Center is seeking a Staff Accountant, BS - General Accounting to maintain the general ledger and financial statements for all assigned departments. A Bachelor's degree in Business with an Accounting major and 3–5 years in hospital or public accounting are preferred.

The role emphasizes independent work, strong knowledge of accounting principles, and solid interpersonal communication skills, with opportunities to contribute to audits and annual budgets within a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Education requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Business with an Accounting major.
• 3-5 years experience in hospital or public accounting preferred.
• Must know accounting principles and have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and integrity of general ledger and financial statements for all assigned departments and entities.
• Assist Chief Accounting Officer with special projects and annual budget process.
• Prepare for the annual financial audit.
