Job summary

Francis Parker School in San Diego, CA seeks a Staff Accountant to manage student billing and accounts receivable, assist with Ramp implementation and ERP processes, and support month-end close. Reporting to the Controller, you will collaborate with admissions and finance staff to ensure accurate awards and timely invoicing.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, business administration, or related field.
• Experience in billing, A/P, and/or A/R with not-for-profit exposure preferred.
• Proficiency with Blackbaud and Excel, including pivot tables.

Responsibilities

• Administer tuition billing and student adds/withdrawals.
• Coordinate with Admissions to verify financial assistance awards.
• Process annual tuition refunds and issue invoices on schedule.
• Respond to parents about invoices and balances.
• Monitor receivables and follow up on past-due accounts.
• Prepare AR reports and month-end AR journal entries.
• Cross-train with A/P and Accounting Manager for coverage.
• Assist with audit schedules and documentation.
