Medical Associates is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. The role focuses on maintaining the general ledger, monthly financial statements, and annual audits.

The candidate should have 1–3 years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, with strong Excel skills and attention to detail. Responsibilities include posting journal entries, preparing statements, budget review, and assisting in audit workpapers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and direct posting of journal entries in general ledger for all applicable entities.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and related schedules for applicable entities.
• Review and analyze all general ledger accounts for monthly and year-end closing.
• Review and analyze monthly budget variances and assist in preparation of the annual budget.
• Maintain relevant statistical data used in analyzing trends and financial performance.
• Assist with compiling information for survey submissions to regional and national associations in areas of compensation and productivity, revenue and expense.
