Job summary

The Contractor Consultants seek a detail-oriented Staff Accountant in Scottsdale, AZ. This full-time, exempt role covers daily accounting, AR/AP, cash management, and financial reporting across affiliated entities. You will post transactions, apply payments, and keep accurate records while coordinating with the Controller and team.

Ideal candidates will have AR or cash-app experience, strong Excel skills, and be pursuing an accounting degree. In-office setting with business casual attire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or pursuing an accounting degree.
• 1-3 years experience in AR, cash application, or accounting operations.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Excel; strong attention to detail.
• Experience with multiple legal entities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily accounting operations including AR, AP, and cash management.
• Post financial transactions and apply customer payments accurately.
• Prepare monthly close, recurring financial reports, and schedules.
• Prepare and send invoices for affiliates and maintain AR aging reports.
• Maintain organized documentation and ensure postings are traceable.
