Orion180 Insurance Co. in Irving, TX, is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the accounting team with daily operations, month-end close activities, and accurate financial reporting.

You will assist with journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and audit support while collaborating with senior accountants and finance leadership to sharpen GAAP and insurance accounting skills. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
• 2-5 years of accounting or accounts payable experience.
• Experience with invoice processing and vendor account reconciliation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Process AP transactions with accurate coding and timely entry.
• Maintain vendor records and resolve discrepancies.
• Reconcile AP subledger, bank accounts and related GL accounts.
• Assist with month-end close, accruals, and supporting schedules.
