Job summary

Foreword Companies is seeking a Staff Accountant in Tennessee to manage the full Accounts Payable cycle, intercompany transactions, and related reconciliations. The role requires hands-on QuickBooks experience and strong attention to detail for accurate financial reporting.

The successful candidate will support month-end close, intercompany balances, and vendor communications, while ensuring adherence to GAAP and internal controls. This is a full-time, on-site position in Gallatin, TN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, including Accounts Payable.

Responsibilities

• Manage full Accounts Payable cycle including invoice receipt, coding, approval routing, payments, and vendor communications.
• Review and code vendor invoices to general ledger accounts and cost centers.
• Process weekly ACH, wire, and check payments following company policies.
