Twosome Place is seeking a hands-on Staff Accountant (AP/AR) to support core transactional accounting tasks across the organization. You will help maintain accurate financial records, support cash flow processes, and ensure day-to-day activity is completed with precision and care.

In this role you will collaborate with store managers and corporate finance to ensure accurate ledger coding, timely reconciliations, and ongoing compliance with vendor and 1099 requirements.

Competenze

• 3–4 years of corporate accounting experience with high-volume invoicing, bank reconciliations, and maintaining accurate ledger entries.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with an ERP or accounting system.
• Business-fluent English.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.

Mansioni

• AP Process: Validate payment requests against the corporate authorization matrix and match approved invoices to ensure accurate ledger coding and disbursements.
• Store Sales Reconciliation: Reconcile daily POS reports against bank ledger settlements; track and audit cash drops, credit card batches, and processing time gaps.
• Bank Reconciliations: Perform daily bank reconciliations, matching POS data, cash drops, and credit card settlements.
• Expense & Card Audit: Verify employee reimbursement requests against policy guidelines and reconcile monthly corporate credit card statements to ensure accurate ledger coding.
• Vendor & 1099 Compliance: Manage vendor onboarding, collect W-9 forms, and own year-end 1099 tax filings.
• Month-End Close: Prepare journal entries for accrued liabilities, cash-in-transit, and ledger variances.

As the business continues to expand, strong financial operations are essential to supporting accurate reporting, smooth day-to-day processes, and effective coordination across the organization.

This Staff Accountant (AP/AR) role is a hands‑on opportunity to support core transactional accounting work that keeps the business running efficiently. You will play an important part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting cash flow processes, and helping ensure day-to-day accounting activity is completed with consistency and care.

Responsibilities

• AP Process: Validate payment requests against the corporate authorization matrix and match approved invoices to ensure accurate ledger coding and disbursements.
• Store Sales Reconciliation: Reconcile daily POS reports against bank ledger settlements; track and audit physical cash drops, credit card batches, and processing time gaps.
• Bank Reconciliations: Perform daily bank reconciliations, matching POS data, cash drops, and credit card settlements.
• Expense & Card Audit: Verify employee reimbursement requests against policy guidelines and reconcile monthly corporate credit card statements to ensure accurate ledger coding.
• Vendor & 1099 Compliance: Manage vendor onboarding, collect W-9 forms, and own year-end 1099 tax filings.

Required Qualifications

• 3-4 years of corporate accounting experience with high-volume invoicing, bank reconciliations, and maintaining accurate ledger entries.
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with an ERP or accounting system.
• Business-fluent English,
• Eligibility to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience with month-end close, store sales reconciliation, and expense or corporate card audits.
• Familiarity with vendor management and 1099 compliance, internal controls, and audit preparation.
• Prior experience in food and beverage, retail, or multi-location operations.
• Experience collaborating with store managers, vendors, corporate finance, and external accountants.
• Experience with AP automation tools.
• Business-fluent Korean.
