Job summary

Calyx Containers, LLC is seeking a Staff Accountant to own accounts payable and accounts receivable end to end and to support the monthly close. This on-site role sits in Salt Lake City, reporting to the Controller, with a focus on accurate vendor and customer accounting and cross-functional collaboration across purchasing, production, sales, and shipping.

You will drive improvements, close the books efficiently, and help ensure accuracy and audit readiness while leveraging AI-enabled

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of AP/AR or general accounting experience.
• Hands-on ERP experience; NetSuite preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to reconcile high-volume transactions.
• Clear written and verbal communication with vendors, customers, and internal partners.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; equivalent experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Own Accounts Payable: process vendor invoices, three-way match, payment runs, vendor reconciliations.
• Own Accounts Receivable: issue invoices, apply payments, monitor aging, resolve disputes.
• Support month-end close with reconciliations, journal entries, and AP/AR reporting.
• Assist with audits and build process improvements; automate where possible.
