Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Staff Accountant – Accounts Payable to join our finance team. In this role you will process financial information, support accounts payable activities, and perform reporting and analysis to help maintain accurate financial records for our hospitality properties.

The ideal candidate has a two-year accounting degree (or equivalent) and 3–5 years of related finance/accounting experience, preferably in hospitality.

Qualifications

• A two-year college degree (accounting preferred) or equivalent education/experience.
• Three to five years of employment in a related position (Finance/Accounting) with this company or other organization(s). Hospitality accounting is preferred.
• A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
• Requires knowledge of the accounting, finance, and hospitality profession.
• Performs special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Support finance team members in management of Accounting Office functions
• Reconcile problems by researching discrepancies and making appropriate corrections.
• Assist with preparation of monthly state and local Sales and Use Tax returns.
• Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned by the Controller.

Staff Accountant – Accounts Payable

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Staff Accountant – Accounts Payable . In this role, you will perform financial information processing, reporting and analysis of the company by performing the following duties personally or in conjunction with other accounting staff.

Pay Rate: $ 20 - $23 per hour

Key Resp onsibilities

• Support finance team members in management of Accounting Office functions
