Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Staff Accountant – Accounts Payable to manage financial information processing, reporting, and analysis. You will support the finance team, reconciling discrepancies and assisting with tax returns while upholding the company’s Promise to Lead with Love.

Qualifications

• A two-year college degree (accounting preferred) or equivalent education/experience.
• Three to five years of employment in a related position (Finance/Accounting) with this company or other organization(s). Hospitality accounting is preferred.
• A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
• Requires knowledge of the accounting, finance, and hospitality profession.
• Performs special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.

• Reconcile problems by researching discrepancies and making appropriate corrections
• Assist with preparation of monthly state and local Sales and Use Tax returns
• Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned by the Controller

Staff Accountant – Accounts Payable

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking aStaff Accountant – Accounts Payable. In this role, you will perform financial information processing, reporting and analysis of the company by performing the following duties personally or in conjunction with other accounting staff.

Pay Rate:

$20 - $23 per hour

Key Responsibilities
