Job summary

Scientific Search is seeking a hands-on Staff Accountant to own GL, month-end close, and financial reporting for a growing pharmaceutical business in Zion, Illinois. You will manage AP/AR, reconcile inventory, and support audits while leveraging Dynamics 365 Business Central and advanced Excel skills to improve controls and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong MS Dynamics 365 Business Central expertise.
• Solid U.S. GAAP and full-cycle accounting knowledge.
• Inventory accounting and manufacturing/distribution experience.
• Advanced Excel, cash management, and working capital analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage GL, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Oversee AP, AR, collections, and vendor payments
• Execute accounting transactions in Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Reconcile inventory, valuation, and COGS
• Prepare financial statements, cash forecasts, and KPI reports
• Strengthen controls and support audits
