Staff Accountant

Our client, a well-established privately owned organization in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support their Finance Director and contribute to key financial objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Support the Finance Director across all accounting functions and ensure adherence to GAAP standards.
• Contribute financial data, analysis, and recommendations to support strategic planning and operational decision-making.
• Assist in the preparation, coordination, and consolidation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Forecast cash requirements, monitor obligations, and maintain appropriate funding levels.
• Research and interpret financial data to respond to internal inquiries, including sales margin analysis and pricing impact.
• Analyze inventory turns to support cost-control measures.
• Perform general accounting duties and support monthly/quarterly financial processes.
• Provide backup support to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information at all times.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Manufacturing industry or cost accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP system experience.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Strong reconciliation and critical-thinking ability.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
