Job summary

Trader Interactive in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Staff Accountant to support accounts payable, expense coding, and general ledger entries. You will partner with multiple departments to maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely monthly close.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in accounting/finance and have at least two years of accounting experience, with strong attention to detail and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and coding of AP invoices into AP Portal.
• Review and coding of credit card expenses and export to the GL system.
• Manage corporate credit card system, including following up on old card transactions, delayed approvals, and missing items.
• Assist various departments with corporate credit card system inquiries.
• Maintain the travel and lodging tracker for ESG compliance.
• Provide a summary of expenses by vendor for expense transparency.
• Prepare monthly credit card expense accrual journal entry.
• Prepare monthly accrued expenses journal entry.
• Monthly reconciliation of corporate credit card GL account.
• Assist Accounting Manager and Senior Accountant with other journal entries and reconciliations as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field.

• 2+ years of accounting experience.

Bonus Points

• Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

• Corporate expense experience (RAMP highly preferred).

• Dynamics 365 experience.
