Job summary

Carolina PRG is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team in the United States. You will support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities, perform bank reconciliations, prepare journal entries, and maintain the general ledger.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• Experience within distribution, manufacturing, or a similar environment is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger activity
• Partner with teams across the organization to research and resolve accounting discrepancies
• Assist with internal financial reporting and audit requests
• Prepare balance sheet and other account reconciliations
• Provide support across accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed
• Follow established accounting policies, internal controls, and GAAP requirements
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and overall efficiency
