ESW Beauty is seeking a Staff Accountant to support daily accounting, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, A/R, A/P, and general ledger maintenance. The role requires strong GAAP knowledge, multi‑channel revenue experience, and accuracy in fast-paced environments. The position is remote across the continental U.S.

• Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–6 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in CPG/retail.
• Experience with complex reconciliations, multi-channel revenue recognition, inventory accounting, and sales tax compliance.
• Experience assisting with month-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Experience managing chargebacks and deductions with retailers.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial regulations, and general accounting procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Own chargeback and deduction management, including tracking and coding retailer chargebacks and deductions.
• Perform daily bookkeeping activities and ensure accurate and timely entry of financial transactions.
• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and account classifications.
• Monitor and maintain syncs between accounting, inventory, and spend management systems; resolve sync errors and avoid duplicates.
• Manage A/R functions including invoicing, payments, aging reports, and collections follow-up.
• Process A/P transactions including invoice entry, vendor payments, and account reconciliation.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations for accuracy.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes with journal entries and financial reporting.
• Assist with audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data and resolve discrepancies.
• Handle ad hoc finance requests and projects as needed.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our team. This position is

responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations including bookkeeping, reconciliations,

accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), and general ledger maintenance. The ideal

candidate has a strong understanding of accounting principles, thrives in a fast-paced environment,

and has excellent organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Own chargeback and deduction management, including tracking and coding retailer chargebacks and deductions, matching them to customer remittances, and disputing invalid claims.
• Perform daily bookkeeping activities and ensure accurate and timely entry of financial transactions.
• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and account classifications.
• Monitor and maintain the syncs between our accounting, inventory and spend management systems, resolve sync errors, and make sure each transaction is recorded once with no duplicate entries.
• Manage A/R functions including invoicing, payment application, aging reports, and collections follow-up.
• Process A/P transactions including invoice entry, vendor payments, and account reconciliation.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconcensions to ensure accuracy and
