Job summary

Talon HeadHunters Formerly HRX HEADHUNTERS is partnered with a growing manufacturing company to recruit a Staff Accountant. This hands-on role supports production cost control, asset management, and financial reporting for cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead month-end close, analyze costs, manage fixed assets and CIP, and assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audits. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in accounting or finance and strong Excel skills, plus ERP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Associate's degree considered with experience)
• Experience in manufacturing accounting required, OR inventory-based accounting experience
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)
• Experience with ERP/accounting software (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, etc.)
• Solid understanding of GAAP
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform cost and variance analysis to support production and cost-saving efforts
• Manage fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and construction in progress (CIP)
• Lead month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
• Ensure GAAP compliance and assist with internal and external audits
• Collaborate with departments to improve financial processes and reporting
