Staff Accountant at Servsys Corporation

Job Title: Staff Accountant

Location: Miramar, FL - Onsite

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Accountant to join our Accounting team. This role is ideal for professionals with 2+years of experience in accounting or finance. The position offers 6–8 weeks of structured training (including SAP) and the opportunity to grow into a long-term career.

You will play a key role in general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, fixed assets, financial reporting, and commission tracking, while supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform monthly reconciliations of 40+ General Ledger accounts.
• Prepare and review supplier bank reconciliations and journal entries.
• Support month-end closing activities, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
• Review and reconcile gross profit postings and executive expense reports.
• Track and process incentive programs, sales commissions, and bill-backs.
• Assist with ad-hoc reporting, corporate reporting, and departmental P&L preparation.
• Maintain financial accuracy and ensure compliance with company policies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting (mandatory).
• 2+ years of experience in accounting/finance.
• Strong skills in Excel (intermediate level).
• Experience with journal entries, fixed assets, reconciliations.
• Exposure to ERP systems (SAP preferred – training provided).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
