Job summary

CQ Medical is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our finance team in Toughkenamon, PA. You will manage general ledger entries, perform reconciliations, and contribute to month-end and year-end closings.

The role involves preparing financial statements, analyzing data for trends, and supporting budgeting, forecasting, and audits. Strong Excel and GAAP knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
  • Two+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP.
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
  • Key contributor to month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare financial statements and internal reports.
  • Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or trends.
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, policies, and regulations.
  • Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information.
  • Respond to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests from management.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of GAAP
  • Strong technical proficiency in ERP systems (Infor XA, or similar preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
