Job summary

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management with 5+ years in manufacturing accounting.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Full understanding of the complete accounting cycle in manufacturing.
• Oracle ERP experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; team oriented.
• Ability to handle ambiguity and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements and detailed analyses.
• Manage and perform monthly closings with reconciliations.
• Oversee capital investments, fixed assets, and depreciation schedules.
• Support month-end reporting and weekly financial performance.
• Assist with daily cash management and AP/AR management.
• Assist with site-level forecasts and budgets.
• Contribute to audits and internal control compliance.
• Collaborate with internal/external customers on financial matters.
• Participate in special projects as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly financial statements and various detailed analyses.


• Manage and perform monthly financial closings, including reconciliation of accounts.


• Manage, track and analyze capital investment proposals, Fixed Assets and depreciation schedules


• Perform month-end reporting duties and prepare/present weekly financial performance.


• Assist with daily cash management reporting.


• Assist in Accounts payable & receivables management.


• Assist with the development of site-level forecasts and budgets.


• Facilitate customer relations with both external and internal customers.


• Assist with audits and lead internal control compliance.


• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.


• Special projects as assigned.

Education/Skills/Experience:

• BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management and a minimum of 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in a manufacturing accounting environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel.


• Full understanding of complete accounting cycle in a manufacturing environment required.


• Oracle ERP Experience Preferred
