You will manage automated reconciliations, payroll accruals, and balance sheet roll-forwards while collaborating across departments. The ideal candidate holds an accounting degree, has 2+ years of experience, and is proficient with ERP systems and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile ACH payments against system transactions and record fees via journal entries.
• Record biweekly payroll and month-end accruals.
• Update balance sheet reconciliations and roll-forwards for accurate cash reporting.
• Collaborate with departments to address financial inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required.

Job description

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for:

• Knowledge and understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
• Manage automated reconciliation of cash and credit card receipts to point of sale receipts, investigate any variances
• Reconcile ACH payments against system transactions, record all fees and withdrawals via journal entries
• Record biweekly payroll and month end accruals
• Update balance sheet reconciliations and roll forwards to ensure accurate cash reporting
• Collaborate with team members across departments to address financial inquiries and resolve discrepancies
• Ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required
