Job summary

Segrera Associates is seeking a Staff Accountant in the St. Petersburg / Sarasota area to support month-end and year-end close, prepare journal entries, and analyze variances. You will collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• 2+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting.
• Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a broader finance team.
• Healthcare or multi-location experience is a plus, but not required.
