Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Staff Accountant to grow in a government services environment. The role offers hands-on work across general ledger and business tax tasks, with a collaborative team and clear responsibilities.

The position supports month-end close, tax compliance, and ad hoc projects, providing exposure to Costpoint and ERP systems. A bachelor’s degree in accounting and solid Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• Experience with general ledger accounting or tax work is preferred.
• Experience with Costpoint or similar ERP systems is a plus.
• Basic to intermediate Excel skills are expected.

Responsabilités

• Perform general ledger accounting, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Support month-end close preparation and related reporting.
• Prepare and manage business taxes, including property, license, sales, and excise taxes.
• Assist with state and local tax compliance requirements.
• Complete ad hoc tasks and projects as requested.

Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:

• Perform general ledger accounting, including reconciliations and journal entries
