Position Overview:

The Staff Accountant will support the Finance department in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting reporting cycles, and improving internal processes. This role will have visibility across the organization and play a critical part in ensuring day-to-day accounting accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Perform general ledger account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies
• Support monthly close processes, including preparation of journal entries
• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate coding and timely handling
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and calculate depreciation
• Prepare audit schedules and support external auditors as needed
• Collaborate across departments to gather financial data and support decision-making
• Assist in developing and improving internal processes and accounting documentation
• Monitor compliance with accounting standards and company policies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 0–3 years of relevant accounting experience (internships and early-career candidates encouraged to apply)
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with modern accounting systems is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Experience in SaaS, tech, or professional services environments is a plus
