Accounting Manager

Scottsdale, AZ | Hybrid (2–3 Days in Office)

Are you ready to step into a high-impact accounting leadership role with a company that runs lean but is growing? We’re looking for a dynamic Accounting Manager to join our client's energetic and forward-thinking team in AZ.

This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-minded environment and is passionate about building smart, scalable processes. You’ll work closely with leadership to lead daily accounting operations, strengthen the financial reporting, and guide business decisions with sharp insights. If you’ve got experience in software/SaaS—and bonus points for healthcare—you’ll feel right at home here.

What You’ll Do:

• Own and manage full-cycle accounting—from journal entries and reconciliations to month-end and year-end close.
• Prepare and review GAAP-compliant financials, ensuring accuracy and insight at every turn.
• Supervise the AP/AR Specialist and ensure timely billing, collections, and payments.
• Oversee capitalized software development costs and ensure proper accounting treatment.
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and modeling—your insights will shape big decisions.
• Manage intercompany transactions and eliminations for clean, consolidated reporting.
• Keep the financial house in order by enhancing policies, internal controls, and accounting processes.
• Support audits, tax filings, and compliance with confidence.
• Recommend and drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Be a go-to resource for cross-functional teams like Product, Engineering, and Operations.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA strongly preferred
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• SaaS/software industry background strongly preferred
• Strong command of GAAP, especially ASC 606 and capitalized software rules
• Experience with multi-entity consolidations and intercompany accounting
• A hands-on, problem-solving mindset and the ability to lead in a lean environment
• Confidence in QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, or Sage, plus Excel mastery
• Bonus if you’ve worked in or around healthcare finance
